	Wooden & Timber Security Roller Shutters

		Designed for use in bars, receptions, display areas and the like, wooden or timber Security Roller Shutters and grilles may be manufactured in single or multiple units to suit either straight or angled openings. Guides may be fixed or removable as required offering maximum flexibility The shutters and grille curtains are formed from either "134" or "234" type lath in Ramin, Ash, Oak, Utile, Beech ("134" only) Yellow Pine or Columbian Pine ("234" only). Other timbers are available on request. N.B. lath will not reverse roll. Please contact us for further information. The Shutter curtain is formed from "134" Type lath each alternate lath is omitted for a space of 229mm to form a grille effect, single spacing, or two rows of lath omitted for double spacing. Guides Normally supplied in matching timber. Flush lifts and barrel bolts are supplied normally in B.M.A but other finishes are available. Cylinder key locks are an optional extra although standard on "9134" grilles. The guides are 47mm x 47mm (fit within) or 72mm x 47mm (face fit) and usually connected to the end ports to simplify erection. Operation


	The Wooden Roller Shutters are made easy by the employment of a self coiling action with counter balancing springs as standard. Alternatively electrical operation is available from 230v 50 Htz single phase tubular motor contained within the roller assembly, operated by a push button or key switch. Locks would normally be omitted for electrical operation.




	Casing Hood and/or fascia to enclose the shutter or grille coil can be supplied in Birch, Ash, Oak, or Sapele faced ply wood at extra cost. Galvanised sheet steel hood also available (powder coated finish optional) please contact us for further details. All our roller shutters and grilles are finished in white unless otherwise specified. Polished, stained and polished or "Renokil" Albi-Max Class 1 or 0 intumescent flame retardant coated is also available at extra cost.
