Retractable/Telescopic Bollards and Posts

Retractable bollards are designed for medium security situations such as traffic and parking control, as they offer adequate security whilst remaining easy to operate and aesthetically pleasing.

The bollards are available in either a round or square shape having a wall thickness of 5mm upwards.  The operation of the bollard is both quick and easy and there are several methods of operation available contact us now for further details.

 

Retractable Bollard - Operation.

To lock the bollard: Lift lid, draw up inner post to its full extent, rotate the handle anti clockwise a quarter turn, press down and push the lock button, the bollard is now in its fixed upright position.

To unlock the bollard: Release the push button lock with the key. Rotate the handle a quarter turn anticlockwise, lower the post into the ground, rotate the handle a quarter turn clockwise and press down the push button lock.

 

Rhinocast Telescopic Bollard (RR/SU5)

Rhinocast is an Engineering Grade Polyurethane cast around a steel core to form a range of ornamental designs, and is pigmented to match its final finish. A final coat of two part polyurethane paint is applied over a suitable primer, giving ultimate levels of weather protection and colour retention.  The use of Engineering Grade Polyurethane, is now widely accepted as the future of the bollard industry. Numerous advantages include: Will not shatter and is rust proof, Impact and chip resistant, abrasion resistant and has a wide range of solvent and chemical resistance, resulting in minimal maintenance costs.
