Swinging Gate (RSG01)

Our swinging gate is based upon a rigid triangular form combined with  strengthening struts and is made to withstand continuous heavy use. A central plate is supplied to enable a sign to be affixed.

Designed so that there is a minimum of moving parts, the gate swings on a tubular sleeve mounted on brass bearing bushes, for ease of movement.

Mild steel tubular construction throughout, sprayed with 1 undercoat and 2 top coats of white paint after manufacture. other colour schemes available. i.e. branded, upon request.

Made to customers specification with a maximum available width of 6 metres.  Where the opening is more than 6 metres we strongly recommend the use of 2 gates locked centrally by the use of a removable post.

Technical specifications
Galvanised steel construction painted red/white with class 2 reflectors.
Main pivot post 120 x 120 x 5mm steel.
996mm to underside of boom.
Boom length up to 6.5 metres.
Boom of 60 x 60 x 3mm steel.
Lockable by padlock (Available extra)
Main Post - 4 qty 16mm bolts required.
End catch post 4 qty 12mm bolts needed.
Additional catch post is required to lock the gate in open position
Catch post of 90 x 50 x 4mm steel.
Catch post adjustable to + 70mm

Counter Balance Gate (RCBG01)

A counter balance gate which is lockable in both close and upright position. The lightweight aluminium boom together with the counterbalanced weight means the gate is easily raised and lowered.

Technical Specification.

Steel pivot post: 120 x 120 x 5mm steel with counter balance.
End catch post: 50 x 50 x 4mm mild steel.
Finish: Galvanised and painted red.
Height: 1.0m to under side of boom.
Boom: Up to 7.0m length, made of rectangular aluminium section, 76mm high, 38mm deep, 3.2mm thick, finished in red/white with class 2 reflective tape. Boom weight per metre 2.0 Kg/m.
